The Page Editor is your central hub for designing, configuring, and customizing your app's pages. The editor panel has been intuitively redesigned for ease of use, enhanced productivity, and seamless navigation.

AI Copilot

The AI Copilot provides an innovative way to quickly generate and configure pages using simple text prompts. Users can even upload an image to help the AI better understand their desired layout, blocks, and visual style.

Layers

The Layers panel allows users to visually understand and control the hierarchy and relative positions of blocks within the page. Key functionalities include:

  • Drag-and-drop individual blocks or groups (containers) vertically within the layers list to reposition them on your page. This can be done within the page editor as well.

  • Collapse or expand block hierarchies for easier viewing and organization.

  • Temporarily hide blocks or entire groups from the layers panel, providing a more condensed visualization during the design process.

This provides granular control and a clean workspace, improving your editing experience significantly.

Page

Page settings encompass essential controls for each page within your app. Within this section, you can:

  • Set the page name and configure navigation options.

  • Define access controls and permissions to specify who can view or edit the page.

  • Apply key styling and configure visibility permissions.

  • Set up any desired page-load actions to execute when a user accesses the page.

This panel is essential for managing foundational aspects of your app’s pages, ensuring optimal functionality and user experience.

Block

When selecting an individual block, the Block panel displays options specific to the block type selected, organized into:

  • Core: Essential settings defining the fundamental operation and content of the block.

  • Styles: Visual customization options, including layout, colors, typography, spacing, and more.

  • Actions: Configure interactive behaviors triggered by user actions.

  • More: Additional miscellaneous options that vary depending on the block type.

By mastering these editor features, you'll maximize the functionality and visual appeal of your apps built with Frontly!
